Commissions

(2025) The Return at Anywhere Theatre Festival, Paint Factory, Yeerongpilly, Brisbane.

  • Designed and created paper lanterns, costumes and stage sets for a live performance

  • Negotiated with actors to tailor the props to suit their roles and movements

  • Designed and created cricket and crane headsets and costume for a live performance

  • Worked closely with the dancers to ensure the headsets are comfortable and functional

  • Designed and created a paper dress for a Butoh dancer, Beetle Myela

  • Worked closely with the performer to understand the concepts of the show

  • Bringing the concepts into the final dress in a form of fragility and transformation of the material

Other

(2025) Community Arts Practice Coordinator for Northey City Street Farm Solstice Festival in Brisbane.

  • Delivered a lantern making festival at the solstice festival for more than 500 participants

  • Designed a workshop that is viable for the scale and accessible for all ages

  • Recruited and organised visual artists as mentors for the workshop

  • Created a budget sheet for the workshop, including artist fee, materials, tools and equipments

  • Worked closely with the organiser team and the artists to ensure smooth running of the workshop

(2023-Present) Freelance Costume Designer, Brisbane.

  • Created commissioned sets of costumes made from my handmade paper for performances

  • Collaborated with clients to meet their concepts and aesthetics goals, such as elevating the movement of the body and shedding effects while dancing

  • Adjusted designs so the sets are functional and wearable

(2021-2023) Hands On Art, Brisbane.

  • Designed art class for children (between 4-12 years old) for every Saturdays and during school holidays

  • Prepared lesson plans and materials for each class

  • Marketed the class on social media and managed booking system

  • Tailored teaching materials based on a child’s age and needs

  • Worked closely with parents to understand any concerns and requirements

  • Mentored a teaching assistant.
